Description The dielectric constant measured with a capacitor can deliver direct information about the quality of the engine oil. Another capacitor records the oil level. The oil temperature is measured with a precise PT 1000 element. The measured values are transmitted as PWM (Pulse-Width-Modulated) signals or via other interface standards such as BSD and LIN. Features - Capacitive oil level measurement
- Integrated temperature sensor
- Oil quality signal
- High temperature stability
- Low energy consumption
- First actual signal only 2 seconds after starting ignition
- High resistance to vibrations
- Design of the plastic housing at customer request
Applications Oil sensors for engines, transmissions and Hydraulic systems
