Environmental Metrics Data

Since 1990 the division Continental Automotive Systems (CAS) has developed a environmental management system according to ISO 4001 and implemented it step by step. Setting of plant related targets to improve environmental performance (efficient use of resources and simultaneous minimization of emission) are of essential importance for an effective environmental management system. Therefore documentation of relevant input / output data (energy, water, waste, CO2 emission) has been standardized. Since 1999 evaluation of these environmental data has been consolidated as demonstrated in the report Environmental Metrics 1999-2006.
